Friends of Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park
The spectacular Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park, with its striking views of the Hudson River and Palisades, is one of the village’s greatest assets. This public park hosts a variety of community events and concerts. It is a haven for relaxation, picnics and contemplation. It is an inspiring environment for exercise, dog walking, active play and much more. Its facilities include a playground, walking paths, a covered stage, fishing pier, washrooms, exercise equipment, a boat dock and picnic areas – made possible by a major renovation completed in 2015.
The Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park Inc. is a private not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing this amazing community resource. The Friends provide support for the park over and above what the Village of Dobbs Ferry can provide. Current projects include the installation and care of native flower beds, tree planting and other projects that beautify the park and add to users’ enjoyment.

Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy Waterfront Park.
There is ample parking in the commuter lot adjacent to the park for both residents and nonresidents of Dobbs Ferry. For residents, there are 18 designated spaces for those with Recreation Parking permits for weekday use. In addition, Rec stickers enable residents to park anywhere in the lot on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. Vehicles with commuter permits have no restrictions.
Nonresidents (and residents without parking permits) may purchase parking via the ParkMobile app: follow instructions on signs in the parking lot. More info here on village parking and the various parking permits for residents.
